The Whirling Dervishes

In the spiral filing flare

of the skirts

there is a turning

in my heart,

a softening, an opening…

a blossom

appearing in

a fissure

of the rock

as I

surrender.

close

your eyes.

Can you hear

the song

within

your silence?
